Parents and Child

Parents

Are you concerned about your child’s literacy/English development?

Are you unsure about how to help your child?

It can be overwhelming and distressing for parents when their child is struggling.  And, it can be difficult to know how to help.

I can help both you and your child.

First and foremost, your child will receive a personalised curriculum that is explicit, sequential and evidence-based.  I will give real time feedback to you and your child  and adapt my teaching to your child's needs.  I will provide regular updates on their progress.

In addition, I can:

  • Provide suggestions for helping your child at home.

  • Advocate for you and your child within their educational setting.

  • If required, I can recommend further assessments with other professionals such as clinical psychologists, speech pathologists and/or occupational therapists.

Did You Know?

Despite its importance, Australian students are struggling with writing. NAPLAN data shows there has been no improvement in Years 3 and 5, and a moderate decline in Years 7 and 9 over the last 10 years.
